Agnes's Story

91, of Meadows Place, TX, passed away December 10, 2017. She was born in Johnstown, PA on August 18,1926 to Joseph and Anna Boxler and was married to Thomas Batovich for 69 years. Agnes started her nurse's training during World War II and became a Registered Nurse soon after in Johnstown. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church (Houston, TX) and a former member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church (Johnstown, PA). Agnes had a passion for ceramics, fishing, playing Bridge, and flea markets. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Boxler, son Christopher Lenzer, and daughter-in-law Bonnie Forrester. She is survived by husband Thomas Batovich, sister Ethel Henderson, daughters Tamara Wise, Jennifer Batovich, Andrea Rosen and partner Vivian Breauninger, and Marjorie Annapav, assumed son Oscar Vasquez, grandchildren David Rosen, Marsha Bustamante and husband Frank, Shane Unger, Konrad Lenzer, and Gertrude Lenzer, numerous nieces, her beloved Yorkie companion Joe, six grand dogs and two great-grand dogs.
