Agnes's Story

of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017. She was born Jan. 15, 1930 in Johnstown, PA to Frank and Catherine (Parks) Amis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sr. and son Jack and in-laws Paul and Alice (Johnson) Heverly of St. Michael, PA. She was also preceded in death by Richard and Sis (Johnson) Davis of St. Michael, PA and their son Richard Davis Jr. as well as brother in-laws Jack Heverly of Johnstown, PA, Ed Oshaben of Bellaire, MI and Frank Travinsky of St. Michael, PA. Agnes is survived by her sons Ronald Jr. (Joanne) of Schwenksville, PA and Paul (Kim) of Newtown, PA, and two sisters Patricia Oshaben of Bellaire, MI and Theresa Stravinsky of St. Michael, PA as well as sister in-law Edith Heverly of Johnstown, PA. Agnes had ten grandchildren, Christopher (Kara), Ashley (Noah), Michele (Jeff), Brian, Kristen, Michael, Jessica (Jim), Samantha, Alyssa and Brianna, and four great grandchildren, Gianna, Ayden, Benjamin and Madelyn.
Agnes had numerous other nieces and nephews. Agnes graduated from Beaverdale High School and was on the Majorette Squad. She was an avid golfer while living in Virginia and played bingo with friends in North Carolina. She enjoyed TV game shows, caring for her two chihuahuas, and visiting with loved ones. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schwenksville, PA. Funeral arrangements are being made by Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home in Newtown, PA.
