Alexander R. Richardson


"Tuba," 24, Mount Hope (South Fork), died August 9, 2019. Born October 15, 1994, in Fallbrook, California. Preceded in death by grandfather, Doran Richardson; and step-grandmother, Dorothy (Petroff) Lingenfelter. Survived by mother, Angela (Josephson), wife of Chris Lingenfelter, Mount Hope; father, Daryl Richardson, married to Tracy (Szemes), Parker, Colorado; siblings, Lily Lingenfelter, Mount Hope; Maddie Mae and Cooper Richardson, Parker, Colorado; Evan Emerick, married to Shaye (Rusnak), Dunlo; and Ryan, Alex, and Cory Reed, Emporium, Pennsylvania; maternal grandparents, Robert and Cathy (Dorin) Josephson, Salix; paternal grandmother, Patricia (McCloskey) Richardson, Windber; step-grandfather, Leonard "Hank" Lingenfelter, Sidman; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Alex was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 2013, and worked for Boscov's Department Store. Although he lost his battle with addiction, the essence of who he truly was will carry on in our hearts. He cherished spending time with family and friends, found moments of peace and encouragement through music, and enjoyed singing and playing bass guitar with the Johnstown rock band Silver Screen. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Reverend Thomas Moore presiding. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Mount Olive UMC, 599 Fairview Ave, Sidman, PA 15955.
