Amalia "Molly"'s Story

103, of Johnstown died January 3, 2018, at the Atrium Manor. Born October 16, 1914, in Johnstown the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Prudic) Drenik. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. Yuhascik; son, John M. Yuhascik; sister, Antoinette; and brothers: Tony and Joseph. Molly was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by her daughter, Josie, wife of John Lovrich; grandsons: John, Aaron, and Cole; and great-granddaughter, Nora. She was a member of the former St. Stephen Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild; current member of Resurrection Parish; and a member of the Democratic Women of Cambria City. She loved her pets Billy Girl, Rudy and Captain Jack. As soon as the weather was nice Molly would love to sit on the porch and say hello to everyone that passed by. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 710 Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday Fr. Francis Balestino. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Atrium Manor for the kind and loving care they gave to Molly while she lived there. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Amalia.
