Amelia (Elaine)'s Story
Amelia "Elaine" Krise, 88 of Altoona, formerly of Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2017 at Presbyterian Village of Hollidaysburg. Born on October 19, 1928 in Nettleton PA, daughter of the Late LJ and Ruth (Dilling) Learn. She was married to Joseph Fuller who passed away on September 26, 1996. Later she married Joseph Krise in August of 2008. Surviving is a daughter Darlene D. (Fuller) Washko and her 3 children: Daniel (Tessa) Washko, Michael (Heidi) Washko, Timothy (Diane) Washko; daughter Dondra D. (Fuller) Paulson; a son David D. (Lois) Fuller and their daughter Sabrina; a daughter in law Joan Fuller and her 2 sons Donald and Jason; 2 brothers, Glenn and Jerry Learn; 1 sister Willadene Kimmel; and 9 great-great grandchildren. Elaine will sadly be missed by all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Ronald and Jack Learn, a sister Margaret Learn, a son Donald D. Fuller, and a son in law Michael Washko. Elaine was a graduate of Blacklick Township High School. She enjoyed her work as a bookkeeper of municipalities in the Johnstown area. She loved to paint, sew, and loved her dog Bailey. When she resided in Florida she was a member of the Fairway Christian Church. She was also a member of the painting club and sewing club. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1-3pm at The Good Funeral Home, Inc. A service will be held at 3pm. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery.
