Betty was a committed mother and wife who loved her church and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a wonderful baker, community volunteer, and always taught her family you never get rid of anything because you never know when somebody might need it. She was totally dedicated to her children and their happiness was her first priority. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Bob Westrick, officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bettys memory may be made to the Humane Society of Cambria County. She has seen the Lord and is in His presence where she will have peace forever. She is there looking down from Heaven, watching over her family and looking forward to the day they will join her in Gods eternal happiness. She is on her way to a beautiful and loving resting place.
