87, Ebensburg, passed away September 10, 2017. Born January 19, 1930, in Belsano, the son of Clem E. and Mary C. (Natcher) Lanzendorfer. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Harold, Fred and Murray Lanzendorfer and sisters, Luella Rehus and Clara DAlicandro. Survived by sisters, Josephine Duman, Levann Sherry and Kathleen (Paul) Kozicky, all of Ebensburg. Charlie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews of whom he was most proud and always enjoyed being active in their lives. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown and the Holy Name Society. He was active in the St. Nicholas Annual Picnic for many years. US Army Veteran. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp with 23 years of service. In addition to being a mill worker, Charlie devoted his life to working the family farm. Charlie enjoyed planning the annual Lanzendorfer Family Reunion and was well known for his handiwork as a Master Quilter. Friends will be received from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Charles and his brother-in-law, Paul Kozicky at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Fr. Alfred Patterson, OSB, celebrant. Committal, church cemetery. Military honors by local veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Church, Colver or St. Nicholas Church, Nicktown.
