Charles K. "Ken," 84, formerly of Belmont, died June 3, 2017, at Arbutus Park Manor, under the loving care of Asera Care Hospice. Preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Mull. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Gloria (Kane) Mock; daughter, Gwen Coyle, and husband, Dave, Johnstown; son, Charles "Chip" Mock, and wife, Cindy, State College; son-in-law, Gerald Mull, Johnstown; grandchildren, Eric and Stephanie Coyle, New Jersey; Chad Mull, Johnstown; Kelly Panarello, and husband, Mike, Pittsburgh; Garrett Mock, Oregon; and Madison Mock, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Emily Coyle, Ohio; and Landon and Luca Panarello, Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Nancy Marchetti, and husband, Vince, California; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and had worked at Arbutus Park Manor. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a former member of the Belmont Volunteer Fire Company, where he served as president and treasurer, a past committee member for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 38, and president of the Richland Seniors Bowling League. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, playing cards and keeping in touch with his friends through email. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Rev. Walter J. Moll, celebrant. Entombment, Richland Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by VFW Post 155 Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken's name to Asera Care Hospice. (www.hendersonfuneralhome.com)
