93 of Northern Cambria passed away November 14, 2017 at Haida Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings. Born September 11, 1924 in Barnesboro, daughter of Guiseppe (Joseph) and Frances (Yannello) Lombardo. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Samuel and Paul, sisters Mary Rice, Concetta "Kate" Rogers and Delores "Dolly" Ranck and Terrance Lowe. Survived by children, Joanne (widow of Joseph) Parsons of Patton, Joseph Lowe of Emeigh, Jane Hovan and Teresa Tibbott both of Northern Cambria, grandchildren, Jonathan Parsons, Jennifer Parsons Anderson, Brian (Amy) Lowe, Christine (Ron) Rhoades, Tess Bradley (Ben Stringent) Jenna Tibbott, Joey Hovan, Zachery and Cole Lowe, great-grandchildren, Shawn, Morgan, Chelsea, Ryan and Jamie Parsons, Jacee Anderson, Emily, Abigail and Sadie Lowe, Charlotte, Lilly, RJ and Evelyn Rhoades and her extended family, Toni Lowe, Joseph Hovan, Timothy Tibbott and Arlene Wojno. Clara was the last surviving member of the Lombardo family. She loved celebrating her birthday and Christmas time. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Clara assisted at all church functions at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Prince of Peace Catholic Churches. Clara loved her church, her family and The Pittsburgh Pirates. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Rev. Donald Dusza. Committal Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family would like to thank the administration staff and Dr. Dvorchack at Haida Manor for all the loving and care given to Clara and her family during her stay at Haida.
