Connie L. (Wetzel) Deyarmin, 66, of Burnside, PA died Sunday, September 3, 2017 surrounded by her family at the Miners Medical Center in Hastings, PA.
The daughter of the late Max E. Wetzel, Sr. and Mary E. (Davis) Wetzel, she was born on October 22, 1950 in Spangler, PA.
For most of her life, Connie worked at Mussers Tree Nursery.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Connie married her husband, Wilmer Bub F. Deyarmin on December 31, 1967. They shared thirty-eight years of marriage until his death on September 26, 2006.
She is survived by her two sons: Robert Deyarmin and wife, Jacqueline (Lanzendorfer) of Northern Cambria, PA and Bryan Deyarmin of Burnside, PA; two grandsons: Cody Deyarmin of Indiana, PA and Derrick Deyarmin of Northern Cambria, PA and her fourteen siblings: Max E. Gene Wetzel, Jr. and wife, Shirley of Cherry Tree, PA; Elizabeth Betty Deyarmin of Cherry Tree, PA; John J. Jim Wetzel and wife, Marlene of Cherry Tree, PA; Debra Weaver and husband, Larry of Commodore, PA; Don Wetzel and wife, Susie of Mahaffey, PA; William Wetzel and wife, Mary of Burnside, PA; Patricia Montgomery of Clymer, PA; Phyllis Joan Cavallo and husband, John of Cherry Tree, PA; Mary King and husband, Bill of Commodore, PA; Beverly Jane Barrett and husband, Jim of Northern Cambria, PA; Regina Weaver and husband, Barry of Commodore, PA; Violet Denise Barrett and husband, John of Northern Cambria, PA; Kenneth Paul Wetzel and wife, Mary Ann of Burnside, PA and Ronald Wetzel of Northern Cambria, PA.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Stephen Deyarmin; her grandson, Chuckie Deyarmin and her six siblings: Kathleen; Harold; Lawrence; Robert; Roberta and Thomas Wetzel.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd., 18944 Route 286 Hwy East, Hillsdale, PA. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from Noon until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service. Interment at Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale, PA.
