63, of Windber, entered into rest September 13, 2017. Born August 14, 2017 in Johnstown. Son of Henry and Margaret (Gerula) Swincinski. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Dorothy Swincinski and father-in-law, Peter Petro. Survived by loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Deborah (Petro) Swincinski; daughter, Deanna wife of Matthew McVicker, and grandson, and greatest joy, Maddox McVicker. Also survived by his siblings, Margaret wife of John Dressick; Henrietta wife of Anthony Madoskey; Henry Swincinski, and twin brother, Daniel Swincinski and wife Ann; also, mother-in-law, Frances Petro and numerous nieces and nephews. David worked at Penn Machine Company for 34 1/2 years as the plant superintendent. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially finishing and hunting with his close buddies Teddy, Mousie, and Mark and golfing with his friend, Skoie who loved him like a son. He was a standout athlete in his younger years and was an avid Steelers fan. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 p.m. up until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m. at the William Kisiel Funeral Home Windber. Deacon Thomas Papinchak officiating. Private interment.
