73, Seward went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2017. Donald was born May 12, 1944 in Seward. He was the son of Pershing Perce and Betty June (Hepner) Wilkins. Preceded in death by parents, also a brother Bill Wilkins. Don has two brothers, Brian Wilkins, Virginia; Pershing Eddie Wilkins, Arizona. Don is also survived by his wife Alice (Marsh) Wilkins and children Billy Joe married to Debra, Louisiana; Starlett married to Timothy Crusan, Ellwood City; Theresa Cameron and boyfriend Nevin Benedict, New York; Don, Jr. and girlfriend Tammy Stoker, Harrisburg; Pam, Tyler and Lexy Wilkins, Bolivar; there are 14 grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Don served on Seward Boro Council and also a Mayor of Seward. He loved truck driving and worked for Taylor Trucking for a number of years. He was a member of Seward United Methodist Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, were service will be held 11 am Monday, Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those who extended a helping hand during this difficult time especially Medi Home Hospice, all his therapist, pastors, family and friends.
