Sister of Walter "Sonny" Nadolski, Jr. and wife June, Lilly: Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful homemaker as she enjoyed the vibrant and chaotic times that come with having a big family blessed with many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, Scrabble, Chinese checkers and watching the Pirate games. Dorothy always had a full calendar of events that included many activities with the Portage Senior Center, attending sporting events for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and visiting with friends and family. Volunteered her services to the Polish National Catholic Church making and delivering pierogies for many years. She started the Springhill Pinochle Club 62 years ago and was the last original member. Member of the Holy Family Catholic Church Portage. Her life was like the seasons of the year. Thanksgiving of fall where crowds of 40 were the norm with giggles from the kitchen after her second glass of wine. The Christmas of winter where a house full of loved children argued over who gets to be "Santa". Easter of spring where kids searched for hidden eggs, but flowers were not allowed due to Nonna's allergies. The sultry days of summer, where all could find mom on the porch wearing a sweater and solving crossword puzzles. For all of this and so much more she leaves us rich with memories and truly blessed. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Matrina, Katelyn, and Gina from Grane Hospice Care, and volunteers Kathleen, Larissa, and Lydia, who helped Dorothy through some difficult days. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Portage Area Youth Association. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage.
