Ebensburg, age 94, died December 5, 2017 at home. Born April 20, 1923 in Russellton, PA. Daughter of Giuseppi and Rosina (DiLuigi ) Restauri. Preceded in death by parents, husband Andrew and sisters and brother, Frances Vaglia, Nick Restauri, Della McPhee, and Stella Grembi. Survived by children, Ann wife of Daniel Obara, Irwin; John married to former Julie Lagasca, Dubois; Deborah wife of Art Ardire, Dubois and Sandra wife of David Cuppett, Ebensburg. Grandchildren; Daniel (Sarah) Obara ll, David (Jacqueline) Obara, Elizabeth (Jeffery) Gallagher, Dr Andrew (Katherine) Obara, Kimberly (Douglas) Sheldon, Dr Tammy (Chad) Little, Sonia (Carl) Kosola, Andrew Modis, Matthew (Kristie) Ardire, Kristin (Michael) O'Brien, Danielle (Philip) Feurtado, Joshua Cuppett and Mark (Sierra) Cuppett. 17 great grandchildren. Allison, Edward Obara; Emily, Joseph and Julia Obara; Sean, Ethan and Luke Gallagher; Elizabeth Cha-Wei Obara; Douglas Jr, Sophia and Nicholas Sheldon; Brogan and Grady Little; Penelope Kosola; Olivia Feurtado; and Eliana Restauri Cuppett.Sister of Mary Sanderson, Ebensburg. Edith worked at the National Fireworks and Triumph Explosives during WW 2 making 20 and 40 mm shells. Was a bookkeeper for the family business and enjoyed traveling throughout the US and spending winters in Florida with her husband Andy. She was involved with the girl scouts as a leader, enjoyed gardening, canning spaghetti sauce, cooking for her family and she was know for her delicious Lasagna, and crafting. Edith was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg where vigil wake services will be held. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev Msgr David Lockard. Internment Holy Name Mausoleum.
