Elizabeth Betty Miller, 81, of Ligonier, went to be with her lord on Monday, July 17, 2017. She was born on August 17, 1935 to the late William and Nellie (Snyder) Gindlesperger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller; a brother, William Gindlesperger and a sister, Martha Marty Laughrey. Betty had many talents, but her passion was to brighten peoples day with her specially made floral arrangements. She went all out for her church, the Ligonier Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, with her floral arrangements for every season and holiday. Her family and church family will miss her special touch, but they will rejoice in knowing that she is home with her Lord and Savior. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Deborah DJ Miller of Ligonier, and Cindy Brown and her husband Bert of Winder. She loved and adored her three grandchildren, Joshua Brown and his wife Brittany of Stoystown, Zacheriah Brown of Ligonier, and Jolene Ober and her husband Eric of Latrobe; one great-grandson, Azariah Ober, who made her eyes light up when he came to visit; two brothers, James Gindlesperger of Oregon and Paul Buddy Mitchell of Alabama. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 402 East Church Street, Ligonier. Honoring Bettys wishes, all services will be private.
