Frances's Story

92, Central City, died February 10, 2018 at home. Born March 19, 1925, the daughter of Michael and Ebe (Toblini) Trimeloni. She was the last surviving member of her family. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles; sister, Col. Bianca D. Trimeloni, USAF Ret.; and brother, Thomas D. Trimeloni. Survived by sons, Karl, Col. USAF Ret., married to the former Patricia Bidner; twin brother, Ken, Col. USAF Ret., married to the former Donna Snyder; and Dennis, married to the former Jill Newton; grandchildren, Brian, Marcianne, Michael, David, Lea, Christopher and William; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Arden and Ella; sister-in-law, Jennie (Lewandowski) Sielczak; nephews, Michael, Mark and Matthew Trimeloni and their families; niece, Dorothy Bihun and family. Also survived by dear cousins and their families in Italy. Frances was the secretary to the superintendent of the Shade Central City School District for 27 years. Served as Central City Borough secretary for 20 years and as secretary for the Shade Central City Joint Authority. A lifelong member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish (Sacred Heart of Jesus). She went to Italy with her mother, sister and brother when she was 3 years old and began her schooling there. She returned to the U.S. in 1933 and entered the third grade. A 1943 graduate of Shade High School, ranking fourth in a class of 112 students. Frances traveled most of the U.S. including Hawaii, some of Canada, and the European countries of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Italy. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Frances' caregivers who provided her such compassionate care. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (Sacred Heart), Fr. Aron Maghsoudi, celebrant.
