76, Windber passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2017. Born January 26, 1941 in Windber. Son of Joseph and Anna (Risnica) Pruchnic. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Helen Pruchnic, John J. Pruchnic, Mary Betcher, Stanley and Joseph Pruchnic. Also, nephews, Edward Betcher and Ronnie Pruchnic. Survived by wife of 50 years, Regina (Petro) Pruchnic and siblings, Edward Pruchnic and wife Connie; Josephine Zindash, Stella Scanlan and Walter Pruchnic. Also survived by these nieces and nephews, Donald Pruchnic, Charlie and John Pruchnic; Wally Pruchnic, John Zindash, Larry Betcher, Mary Ann Kennedy, JoAnn Sniegocki, Lynn Michaud, Debbie Rosa, Beth Pruchnic, Jodie McIntyre, Diane Venet, Joanne Zindash, Lisa Greathouse, Marcie Spinos, Linda Scanlan, Chrissie Parris and Kathy Schwendeman. Also sisters-in-law, Gretchen Pruchnic and Debbie and Andy Makuch. Special cousins, Doug and Christy Rees, Valerie and Bob Ashbrook and Donna and Sam Buckhovich. God Children, Regina Stults, Kimberly Betcher, Stephen Makuch, numerous other nieces and nephews and special friend, John Keller. Frank loved his country and the flag. He proudly served in the Coast Guard. He was a 1959 graduate of Windber High School and received his Masters in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a retired teacher from the Richland School District. Frank loved to travel, especially to West Palm Beach, Florida. His greatest joy was camping and boating at Raystown Lake and his MG. He and uncle, Mike Kusinko built our home with a lot of hard work, late nights, sweat, beer and lots of love. He treasured his home. He was met over the rainbow by his loving family and furry dogs, Frosty, Brandy and Abby. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. Friends received 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday afternoon at the funeral home. Reverend Roderick N. Soha, officiating and where Military Honors will also be held by the Windber VFW Ritual Team. Committal Grandview Mausoleum.
