90, Wilmore Heights, was welcomed home by his Lord on November 8, 2017 at Windber Hospice. Born July 16, 1927 in Wilmore, the son of Charles and Anna (Swetz) Yetsko. Deceased family members include his parents; brothers, Charles; Steven; Michael; Matthew; John; Peter; Nicholas; and Paul; sisters, Mary; Catherine; Ann; and Helen; and son-in-law, Timothy O' Toole.
Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Pauline (Melik) Yetsko; and their
children, Paulette (Ed) Fedorko; Frank Jr., (Lynne); Susan O'Toole; Jerry (Christine); and Lori (Matt) Murphy. Also survived by sister, Marge (Steve) Fleck. He will be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren , 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and other beloved family and friends. Frank was a life long member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Portage, PA. His first love was God and second his family. He was a member of the Greatest Generation having proudly served aboard the U.S.S Saginaw Bay during W.W. II. Also a proud member of the Buckhorn Grange. He retired from Bethlehem Steel on August 1, 1985 and fulfilled his dream by buying a gentlemens farm and raised animals for the next thirty two years which brought him great joy. He enjoyed listening to polkas, playing the lottery, and watching the Steelers and the Pirates (when they were winning). His favorite saying was "Your number one in my book". The family wishes to thank employees of Conemaugh Home Health and the staff of seventh floor Ashman for their compassionate care of our Dad. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where Parastas will be sung at 7:00 PM. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church, Portage. Father James Spontak celebrant. Military Funeral Rites by the Portage Ritual Team. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Ss.
