Sr., age 80 of Heilwood, died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Communities at Indian Haven. He was born in 1937 in Clarksburg to Jay L. and Bertha Bolen Little. Mr. Little was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Clymer where he served as deacon. He was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Elmer served with the US Army Reserves. He was self-employed with Glenellm Vending Co. for 10 years. Previously, he was employed by Coca-Cola Co. for 34 years serving as President of the Ebensburg plant and the Rochester, NY plant. Additionally, he owned and operated the Houser Vending Co. in State College. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. Elmer is survived by one son and one daughter - George E. Little, Jr., and fiancee Diane Bodnar, Lebanon; Betty Jean Murdick and special friend, Bill Clawson, Heilwood; five grandchildren - Kristin Wyland and husband, Chris, State College; Brianne Meek and husband, Heath, State College; Ryan Murdick and wife, Michelle, Ebensburg; Camarah Blizzard, Lebanon; Parker Little, Lebanon; seven great-grandchildren; one sister Edith Scott, Livermore. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Glenna J. (Turnbull) Little in 2008, one brother and one sister - Jay and Paul Little and Clara Repine.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Daryl Jeffers officiating. Private interment will be made in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville.
