Henry Hank Moyer, 89, of Johnstown, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born January 23, 1929 in Milford PA, a son of the late Thomas and Maude Moyer. He was a member of the Westmont Presbyterian Church and the Cambria #278 Masonic Lodge. He served in WWII in the Army with the Military Police. Graduated from Lehigh University with a Civil Engineering Degree and retired from Bethlehem Steel after 34 years. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing. In recent years he loved being the caregiver for his wife Jane whom he was married to for 65 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane(Welshonse) Moyer, four children, William Moyer of Colorodo Springs, Daniel Moyer (Twila)of St. Clairsville, OH, James Moyer (Debbie) of Lynchburg, VA and Linda Foerster (Ray) of Ruthven, IA; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer White (Seth), Jessica Doyle (Bo)and their mother Mary Ann Moyer all of Marietta, OH, Rebecca Watson (Paul) of Niantic, IL, TJ Moyer (Nicole) of Kissimmee, FL, Sarah Moyer (Vince Byrk), of Manassas, VA, Victoria Nielsen (Tanner) of Royal IA, Raymie Foerster of Milford, IA, LCPL Nathan Foerster of Camp Pendleton, CA, Jaime Raffinengo (Leo) of Wichita, KS, Erik Schoeppner of Ketchikan, AK, and Robbie Schoeppner (Angelica) , of Columbus, OH; seven great-grandchildren, Audrey White, Alison White and Benjamin Doyle all of Marietta, OH, Christian, Max, Alex and Evan Raffinengo of Wichita, KS. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 402 East Church Street, Ligonier. The Ligonier Valley Veterans Honor Guard will conduct services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Westmont Presbyterian Church, 601 Luzerne St, Johnstown, PA 15905, with the Rev. Craig Miller officiating.
