90, of Canonsburg, formerly of Johnstown, passed away November 6, 2017 in Canonsburg, Pa. Born February 11, 1927 in Johnstown. Son of Herbert Ellsworth and Lottie (Foust) Horne. Preceded in death by Parents, Loving Wife Virginia, Daughter Cinde Sheffield, and Sisters E. Arlene and Hope L. Horne. Survived by loving Son Mark Horne and partner Paul Horner, Canonsburg. Dewayne was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Johnstown. He retired after many years of service as an electronic engineer at WJAC-TV. US Navy Veteran of World War II serving as an electronic technician on the USS Wakefield. Dewayne enjoyed construction , electronics, and was a master electrician. He completely wired his own home and the new WJAC-TV building on Hickory Lane. At Dewayne's request there will be no viewing, visitation or service. Private entombment Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
