68, of Daisytown, gained her angel wings after battling cancer for 6 1/2 years on November 28, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born November 6, 1950 in Johnstown, daughter of Manuel and Mary (Dias) Sandobal. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers John Sandoval and Manny Sandoval. Also, sister Ida Mae Magulik. Survived by her loving husband of 44 years Gaetano "Tom" Furfari, daughter Deanna Furfari and fiance Douglas Evans, daughter Tracy wife of Jarrod Jeschonek, and the son she prayed so hard for, Tommy Furfari. Her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Kara, Gage, and Austin Jeschonek. Also survived by siblings, twin sister Connie(John), Victor (Carol), Jim (Sue), Frank (Renee) and numerous nieces and nephews. Hope was a loving mother who was always there for her children. She was very caring and understanding to everyone who knew her. Her love for her husband was unconditional. Hope loved serving coffee and meeting new people at St. Gregory's fish fry. She was outgoing and loved to help anyone that she was able to, as well as having a great sense of humor and pranking family members. She loved word search books, scratch off tickets, but most importantly had a deep faith in God. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends received from 3 to 7 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, WESTMONT CHAPEL, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sts. Gregory and Barnabas Parish, Daisytown. Father Robert L. Ruston. Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sts.
