(Fyock), 88, Johnstown, went to her glory on Jan. 2, 2018. Born June 1, 1929 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Walter and Melva (Shaffer) Fyock. She is reunited with her husband of 60 years, Wade; sons, Wade; Sterling; C.J.; and Paul; daughter, Holly; grandchildren, Devon, Brandi, Jeremy, Krista, Anthony, and Tucker; and sister, Mona Stiles. She will be greatly missed by her children, Louis (Nancy); Debra (Jim) Mallory; Clayton (Peggy); Melody (Patrick) McIntosh; brother, Russ Fyock; sister-in-law, Patricia Shugars; son-in-law, Robert Logsdon; daughters-in-law, Susan Smith and Lysinda Eckenroad. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous people that she blessed with her loving heart and home. Ila was a Christian woman and a lifelong member of Homestead United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gathering her little ones for church and Sunday School, even if they went barefoot. We would like to thank the many special family members who helped care for her and also the kind nurses of Interim Hospice, especially Tabitha, Britney, Sandy, and Stacy. At Ila's request, there will be no viewing. Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 13th, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m., at Homestead United Methodist Church, 101 Homestead Ave., Pastor Ed Wagner officiating. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., "Exclusive Provider of Veterans & Family Memorial Care," Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
