71, of Snowflake, Arizona peacefully passed away on July 10, 2017 surrounded by his caring family. Jim was born November 5, 1945 in Johnston, Pennsylvania and raised by the Keilman family in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania. After high school, Jim served in the US Army as a recovery specialist. Upon completion of his time in the service, Jim met and married the love of his life, Margaret "Cookie" Scudder. Jim worked in the Pennsylvania coal mines and later owned a radiator repair shop in New Jersey for many years. Jim and Cookie moved to Arizona with their daughters in the late 80's where they enjoyed a life full of wonderful memories - golfing, pool parties at their home with close family & friends, country music & dancing and Sunday afternoons watching golf and the Steelers. Jim also enjoyed wood working and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He finished his working career at Awnings by Design then retired with his wife at their ranch house on 40 acres in Snowflake. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cookie, of 46 years, two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Pat Weimer & Cathy and Mike Gillard, four beautiful grandchildren, Josie Autumn, Damien James, Aubree Jane and Jackson James and a very anticipated great-grandchild, Isaiah Lloyd. Jim was an unforgettable husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle and friend who will be tremendously missed by so many.
