On September 9, 2019, James "Jim" Brown of Johnstown, PA passed away at the age of 72. He was born in New Mexico to Paul and Ruth Brown. He was a proud graduate of Princeton University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan. He married Linda Schmutz, who predeceased him in 2007. He is survived by his son Christopher (Serena). Jim loved trains, Star Trek, and classical music. Upon his retirement from the federal government, he moved to Johnstown because of the fond memories of spending his childhood summers in western Pennsylvania. He enjoyed road trips and spent many happy days exploring the highways of the region. A private memorial will be held for family members. Some of Jim's happiest times were spent with the Princeton University Glee Club; a donation in his memory would be a wonderful tribute to celebrate his life (www.princetongleeclub.com). Our sincerest thanks to Harmony House Manor for taking excellent care of Jim during the last months of his life. Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills is serving the family.
