"Dead Eye", 70, Tire Hill, passed away August 31, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 6, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late John Raymond and Marjorie Mary Ellen (Rogers) Kichler. Preceded in death by brother, Charles Kichler. Survived by life partner, Pamela Shroyer, Tire Hill; sons, James Kichler Jr. married to Christa (Obetts); and Robert Kichler, all of Daisytown; grandchildren, Lisa and James III; sister, Carol Chapman; brother, John Kichler, both of Johnstown; friend, Greg Shroyer, Windber; and numerous nieces and nephews. James was a retired crane operator for Bethlehem Steel Corp., member of the Masonic Temple Cambria Lodge 278 and a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, travel, working on antique cars, attending antique shows, shooting guns, fishing and camping.
