Even though I've been away from Windber for many years, you never forget the wonderful town and the friends and classmates where we were raised.

Jim and Mary Korzi have always been a special memory fo us. Especially our wedding 67Even though I haven't seen him in a number of years there's a deep sense of loss for me.

We'll always lovingly remember Jim and his family in our prayers.

Judy and I extend our sympathy to you. Mary and your family. Jim was a long time friend of mine from basketball and as our State Farm agent. And of course Judy remembers you, Mary from St. Cyrils. I talked to Jim many times about my State Farm and other things. I will miss him.

Mary, Matt and Mike, please accept my sincere condolences. Your loss is a grief that I share. Not in the same way as your family but as Jim's comrade and old friend with chalk dust on our hands and blisters from the hardwood on our feet. 55 years ago, I met a sterling young man who so touched my life with his friendship, his wit, selflessness, sincerity and goodness. Truly a man of integrity and the model of "An Honorable Man."
To this day, I know of no other who had the common touch as well as Jim Korzi. He wished the best for all he knew and met and he really meant it. His understated charm was like the rising sun, it didn't scorch you all at once, but after a few moments you luxuri
...ated in his warmth. His life is a legend that will grow greater in the telling -- he was a dear friend and a good and faithful servant who sterling stainless steel heart has been carried on eagles wings to rest at the Throne of God.

Barry joins me in sending sincere and deepest sympathy at the loss of your wonderful husband, Jim. I haven't seen either of you in many years but I do have wonderful memories of watching Annette's beautiful sister get ready for a date with Jim! So long ago....

As one of his high school students, he was definitely my favorite teacher. He showed strength and compassion, and with dealing with high school students I am sure was not easy. He had a tremendous affect on my life, and I am sure he made many peoples lives better. Thanks Mr. Korzi.

John 10:27-29
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”
