Jane E. (Davis), 52, R.D. Patton, died July 7, 2017, at home unexpectedly. Born May 15, 1965, in Spangler, daughter of the late Joseph M. Sr. and Jean B. (Kutruff) Davis. Survived by husband of 26 years, Chris, whom she married May 18, 1991, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg; daughter, Victoria, at home (Ben Bard) of Portage, and son, Michael, at home. Sister of: Daniel (Joan Rieg) of St. Augustine; Mary Ann Nagle (Tom) of Patton; Joan Cosgrove of Harrisburg; Patty Lou Serafin (John) of R.D. Dysart; and Joseph M. Jr. (Donna Woodnorth) of St. Augustine. Mother- and father-in-law. Ken and Rita (Cunningham) Caretti of R. D Ebensburg; grandmother-in-law, Geraldine (Yeckley) Cunningham of R.D. Ebensburg; brother-in-law, Tony (Laura Weiland) Caretti of R.D. Loretto; sister-in-law, Amy Coppus (Ryan) of Sycamore, OH; nieces and nephews, Lynn Ann McConnell (Red), Cathy Jo Marsh (Andy), Tommy (Tracy Barnes) Nagle, Cassandra Daggett (Justin), Stefani Cosgrove, Johnny Serafin, Joseph IV and (godson) Matthew Davis, Haley, Jody and Rachel Caretti, and Cody and Tyler Coppus; great-nieces and nephews, Kyle, Josi, Amber, Megan and Sara McConnell, Bailey and Taylor Marsh, Abigail, Brady (goddaughter) Machenzie and Jenna Nagle, Carrington, Bromley, Edison, Carver and Roark Daggett; best friend, Gina (Weakland) Ringler; loving neighbor, Elaine Vescovi; and little buddy, Greg. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, where she faithfully attended daily Mass and Saturday evening Mass. She relied on her faith and prayer to see her way through the good and bad times. She attended the Novenas to St. Therese every September at the Carmelite Monastery in Loretto and also prayed to her twice a day. Her passion was family, the Cambria County Fair, where she met her husband, Chris, and Christmas time, mowing grass, swimming, countless hours at the farms working with Michael and Victoria's animals, flowers, and visiting all the "Kids." Jane will be missed by all who loved her, but her devoted love and legacy will continue on. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, Pa 16613, where a Vigil service will be held Monday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Christopher Lemme TOR and the Rev. Joseph Fleming, Celebrants. Committal, St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carmelite Monastery, 2101 Manor Drive, Loretto, PA 15940 in Jane's memory.
