Jane Elizabeth (Berkebile) Drenner, 91, of Quarryville, formerly of Mount Joy, died at home on Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was the wife of the late Donald Walter Drenner, sharing 66 years of marriage at the time of his death in 2012. Born in Hooversville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Edna (Meyers) Berkebile. After graduating from Hooversville High School, Jane attended nursing school at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, where she earned a degree as a registered nurse. She worked in nursing for over 30 years until retiring from Lancaster General Hospital. In 1967 she moved with her family to Mount Joy, where she lived until her husband's death. She and Donald were active members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy, for over 40 years. Jane served as an organist at area churches and sang in various musical groups. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, needlework, travel, and square dancing. Jane is survived by her children, Yvonne (Richard) Janidlo of Hollsopple, Pa.; Donald D. (Pamela) Drenner of Penryn; and Dusty Hess of Quarryville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
