Janice B. Tindall


Janice B. Tindall, 59, of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Born January 1, 1960, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Dee F. and Charlotte (Szelazek) Bennett, Armagh, PA. Janice was a graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre and Salem University in Waverly, West Virginia. Her love of horses continued with a career in the thoroughbred racing industry, having retired from the offices of Ashford Stud in Versailles, KY. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Beth Bennett, Grove City, Ohio and Dr. Deeann Bennett, married to Freddie Guerra, Coppell, Texas: three nephews, Sean and Connor Foley, Anthony Migyanka, Jr, and niece, Sophia Migyanka: uncles Harry Bennett, Johnstown, Gene Bennett, Pahrump, Nevada: aunts Barbara Thompson, Versailles, KY and Denise Szelazek, Johnstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Tindall. By request, services were private. A celebration of life will be held in September. Contributions in her memory may be made to the horse rescue farm- McConathy Farm LLC, 5032 Whites Lane, Lexington, KY 40515.

I knew jan mostly from booking mares, not sure how long I even knew her, but she was always upbeat! Great worker, so sad to learn of her passing, May she rest in Peace!
