Jarrod's Story

Text size

passed on to the angels on Christmas Day. He was 32. He was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and attended ECPI University. He worked as an account associate in the merchant services industry. He is preceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sheriff James Baker of Ahoskie, NC and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Lois Zinner of Richland, PA. He is survived by his loving grandmother, Anne Baker of Ahoskie, NC; his parents Cindy and Edward Zinner; his children Jarrod and Jaxson and his partner in life Kayla Smith of Johnstown, PA; his sisters Krista Zinner, Lauren Zinner, Leah Guilfoyle, and brother in law Stephen Guilfoyle all from Virginia as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jarrod was a free spirit who saw no boundaries to living. He loved to travel and he lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved the game of baseball almost since birth. He was deeply committed to his children, family and partner. Fiercely loyal to his friends whom he also treated as family. His smile was beautiful, his heart was immense, his loss is enormous. He gave so much of himself to the people in his life. Our sunshine is gone.
