Eager, Joan A., 66, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord January 17, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. Born September 29, 1951, Altoona, daughter of the late Donald J. and Constance A. (Litzinger) Eager. Survived by sister, Jane Golden and husband, Rick; nieces and nephews, Rik Golden; Amy Bal and husband, Mike; Matthew Golden and wife, Beth; Justine Kunrod and husband, Troy; Jolene Myers and husband, Casey; and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews. Joan was a dedicated catholic to The Blessed Mother and said the rosary daily for years. She was a very hard worker retiring from the Cresson Borough Office, loved her family, and her two cats: Ruby and Pearl. The family would like to thank Dr. Ibrahim Sbeitan & staff, Dr. Rafic Farah & staff, and Dr. Mark Ratchford; caregivers: Sally, Karen, Mary, Naomi, Becky, Von, Pat, and Mary Lou. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 22 at Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 3:00 p.m. and a vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:45 p.m., Deacon Rick Golden, conducting. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 23 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Rev. Matthew Reese, officiating. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to All Saints Catholic School, 220 Powell Ave., Cresson.
