I have nothing but good memories of Joe. He was kind. He was funny. He would take the time to teach because he truly cared. I joined West End Ambulance at 15 years old and Joe, along with so many other great people, were excellent role models. Instead of getting myself in trouble, I spent all of my free time there and because of people like Joe, I made a career out of what I learned. Thanks Joe. I hope you get your awesome Chevy Laguna back in heaven.

I worked with Joe at the central monitors stations at Conemaugh. He and I took turns making the coffee before the daylight shift report. Joe was so kind, quiet and non confrontational. He loved his family and talked much about them. I remember many phone calls he took or he made to talk to them. Always at the end of the conversation, he ended with “love ya”. This world would be better with more men like Joe. Praying for your peace and comfort🙏

I felt a deep sense of sorrow when I heard the news about Joe. I worked with him in security at CMMC!! He was a funny guy with many stories and was always happy go lucky kinda guy!! He talked soo much about his love for his wife and family!! I would run into him while I worked St Clair Twp PD and we always talked longer than a quick minute catching up!! I'm soo sorry for your loss and cant imagine the heartache your family is going through. Just knowing Joe for the few yrs I did, I am certain he is in heaven and will be an amazing addition to all the heavenly angels!! I pray God lays his hand on your hearts to help your grieving process and lessen the pain. We never know why the Good Lord... takes us when he does, but we have to believe in the special reasons behind them. Sure going to miss that guy!! Miss ya buddy!!!Read more

Ronnie and family, please except my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Joe was a great friend and we shared a lot of good times together working at the hospital.
I just recently found out about his illness and have been praying for him since. I hope you take comfort in knowing that when a good person dies, they sit at the right hand of God, but when an exceptional person dies, they sit on the left hand of God, because that’s the side is heart is on. I know that’s where he is now.

Knew Joe from our many years at Lee Hospital but my fondest memories of Joe were when he and I patrolled the streets of New Florence Borough. Joe got me hired with the department in 1984 and we shared so many stories during our nights on patrol. Gonna miss you brother.
