92; Las Vegas, NV; formerly of Johnstown, passed away December 29, 2017 at home. Born March 28, 1925 in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew A. and Julia (Straka) Demko. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband of 36 years, Milo Sikirica; sisters, Margaret Laco and Helen Stanko, brothers, Albert, Andrew and Francis Demko; and special niece, Regina Demko. Last survivor of her immediate family. Survived by devoted companion and husband Ronald Down, Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Mary Demko, widow of Andrew, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid BINGO player, and enjoyed traveling with her husband Milo, across the U.S. in their V.W. Beetle, dancing the jitter-bug, and entertaining Johnstowners when they visited Las Vegas. She loved baking and never turned down requests to make her famous pizzelles and pumpkin rolls. A Lifelong member of the former St. Stephen Catholic Church. Friends received Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street Johnstown; followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. George M. Gulash. Private committal St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church Cemetery.
