91, Portage, passed away December 10, 2017. Born April 20, 1926 in Portage, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Barosky) Chippo. Deceased family members include her parents; husband, Andrew Yarosh; son-in-law, Edward Newfield; brothers, John, and Samuel Chippo; sisters, Pauline Saccol, and Della Batche. Survived by children, Yvonne, wife of Michael Bodosky, and Bonita Newfield, both of Portage; and Perry Yarosh, Johnstown; Brother Nicholas Connecticut. grandchildren, Michael Bodosky, Michelle, wife of Richard Conway; Tobi Lee, wife of Joshua Burkett; Nicholas Newfield, and Ashley, wife of Jacob Myers; great grandchildren, Cody and Hayley Conway, Jenna, Brynn and Addyson Burkett; and Eden, Baylee, and Presley Myers; and great great grandsons, Comghan and Josiah. She enjoyed spending time with her family, had a strong faith in God, was a member of the church choir, and the Ladies Auxiliary, and was always involved in church activities. She was a very humble and generous person, an excellent seamstress, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering and gardening. In her later years used her artistic talents coloring beautiful pictures. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where Panahida will be sung at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday at St. Michaels Orthodox Church, Father Gregori Tsjouman, celebrant. Committal in St. Michael Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Portage.
