"Ken", 81, of Lorain Borough, died on March 14, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born December 15,1937 in Johnstown, son of Otto and Lyla (Burfield) Gibson. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Clara Ann (Oct., 2015); son Dwayne; sister, Lois Jean Crowley; and brothers, Edward R., James R., and Dennis M. Gibson. Survived by son, Kenny Jr., married to Ann (Gonzalez); daughter, Michelle, wife of Ken Stephens; daughter in law, Sharon (Mazzarese); nine grandchildren, Brittany m/t Jordan Manges, Dwayne Jr. m/t Caitlin, Apryle m/t Nic Berkey, Matthew, Alena m/t Andrew Gehlmann, Kenny, Ashley, Austin, and Alexa; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Eugene "Cook" Burns; and his faithful companion, Chance. Ken was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ken served in the Pennsylvania US Army National Guard . He was formerly employed at Bethlehem Steel in the Metallurgical division, Landmark Security, Gold Key Real Estate, and Page Bedding. He was an avid Steelers fan, longtime baseball coach and past president of Lorain-Moxham Boys League. Ken was a car enthusiast and member of the Johnstown Street Survivors Car Club. He always opened his door to family and friends. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be remembered for his story telling and jokes. Friends received from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 18, 2019 at the FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, WESTMONT Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, WESTMONT Chapel, Pastor Toby Holland officiating. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of "Kenneth M.
