69, Conemaugh, "Dobie", went to be with Our Lord on March 9, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1948, in Johnstown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard, Sr. and Alberta (Henry) Scott. Survived by siblings, Geraldine (Alfred Williams), Portage, MI; Howard, Jr. (Rebecca Dow); Albert (Quaretta Haselrig), both of Johnstown; Alfred (Sandra Herndon), Vienna, VA; Rosalind, Delaware, OH; Sovonnia (James Coleman, Jr.), Johnstown; CAPT Vanessa Scott, USN/RET, Gig Harbor, WA; Robin, Fort Washington, MD; and Yvette Carr, Johnstown. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special devoted niece, Shanyse Carr; many friends; including Thomas Ross, Robert Anthony, Richard Britt, Ronald Coleman, Kim Jenkins, and Pete Jones. Larry was a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. He was retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Pittsburgh. Larry was a US Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. His interests included western shows and movies, jazz, and college sports. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Richland Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, and the Palliative Care Unit at Memorial Medical Center, for their support in Larry's final days. Friends received 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm Friday, and from 10 am until the hour of service at 11 am Saturday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Rev. Julius Porcher.
