86, formerly of Bolivar, went to be with the Lord November 26, 2017 at Amber Springs at LaurelWood. Born March 3, 1931 in West Bolivar the son of the late Joseph and Vesta (Muir) Garland. Also, preceded in death by wife Caroline (Boske) Garland; son Lynn Jeffrey Garland; sister Doris St. Clair; infant brother James Homer Garland. Survived by daughter Carolyn Harding and husband Lynn, Johnstown; daughter-in-law Barbara Garland, New Florence, grandchildren Deanna Martin, Boynton Beach, FL; Brent Harding and wife Kyrie, State College; Allyson Fullem and husband Brian, Stahlstown; Alysha McCauley and husband Brenton, Bolivar; great-grandchildren Jax Martin, Mae Caroline Harding, Collin, Colton and Addison Fullem, Blake and Raquel McCauley; sisters Leona Howe, Bolivar; Jo-Ann Riddell, New Florence; brother Donald Rex Garland, Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lee was a member and former Elder of Oak Grove Church of Christ, retired agent from MetLife, who enjoyed car rides, hunting, especially his trips out west, watching and feeding deer. Friends received 5-7 PM Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence and 10 am till time of service 11 AM Friday, at Oak Grove Church of Christ, 3742 Rt. 711; Ligonier. Charles Burd, Jr., officiating. Interment Fort Palmer Cemetery. In lieu flowers memorial donations may be made to Oak Grove Church of Christ or a charity of ones choice.
