Linda was my best friend. We were friends for over 60 years. I already miss talking to you on the phone every night. I don’t know what I am going to do. Becky , Joyce and Patty you were so good to her. She loved you so much. I am so glad you were there to help her especially when she became really sick. We talked about the old days and all you guys and your mom and dad and the fun times we had. I am really going to miss that. I love you all.
Love Wendy.

Linda was such a great pioneer in law enforcement. From Meter Maid to Chief to Mayor of a third class city. She set goals and accomplished them while maintaining a friendly voice with everyone. She is already sadly missed. RIP Linda Mae!

May you find comfort in these words found in God’s Word “ he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning , nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away.

Linda, was a Great Friend. She told what to stay away from while on CITY~Council. Moreover she knew all the tricks to the trade . She said those ppl. Are Clever on that Council body! Of which, I found was the greatest advice she could’ve gave me . All in all she was one of the Best Chiefs of Our Great City. Back on n her ERA though she HAD GREAT POLICEMEN & Policewoman as well. These were officers who she expect there best from . She was a Living EXAMPLE OF THE STUFF THAT legends are made of....., God Please, grant her sole : a Special Place. ***A Woman WITH A BIG ❤️ SUPER BIG Heart & always looking out for her fellow man or Women! Rest in ☮️

I knew Linda since the 70's. She was an amazing person. It was an honor & a pleasure to work on her campaign back in the day. But what stands out most in my mind is when my Dad put Linda in charge of the AAABA Queens. She protected every girl as if they were her own daughters. We NEVER worried about the girls because Linda took care of them.
