60, of Johnstown, died December 13, 2017, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 6, 1957, in Johnstown the son of James A. and Helen E. (Salinger) DeCoske. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Rose Ann (Horner) DeCoske; son: Eric John DeCoske; and grandson, Milo. He is the brother of: Thomas, married to Elsie (Martin), CT; James W., Johnstown; Donna, wife of Robert Scarff, Johnstown; John, special friend Greg Grove, Johnstown; Joseph, Johnstown; and Christopher, married to Claudia (Stasko), Pittsburgh. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Mark will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a dear friend to many. He was kind, caring, and definitively cool; always cracking jokes and brightening the days of everyone around him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 710 Broad St. where the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Robert Buczak will hold Panachita at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Sat at Christ the Saviour Cathedral with committal at the Church Cemetery.
