84, of Johnstown died June 14, 2017, at the Lutheran Home at Johnstown. Born November 1, 1932, in Robinson, PA the daughter of Renato and Carrie (Lichtenfels) Giacomelli. Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Frank Mihalik; second husband, Frank Subich; and brothers: Anthony, Vincent, Virgil and Dean Giacomelli. She is survived by her children: Alan, married to the former Cynthia Gaunt; Karen, wife of Reggie Kohan; and Roxanne Cramer, all of Johnstown; grandchildren: Christina McClain; Francis Mihalik; Mary Mihalik-Keppler; Santana Cramer; Keyla Cramer; and Alicia Cramer; great-grandchildren: Charity, Jacob, Delani, Isabelle, Athena, Trinity, Alexandria, and Kacey; sisters, Marianna Mariskanish, Clymer; and Sylvestra Beth Bernardy, Johnstown; and brother, Roger Giacomelli, NY. She was also survived by her extended family in Italy who she met when traveling there and remained in close contact with over the years. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Catholic Daughters of America; Rosary Society; Mothers Club. Former owner of Franks Quick Lunch, Franklin St.; and former employee of the Westmont School Districts Dietary Department. Mary loved to cook and bake homemade bread, cookies and cakes and loved to garden. Everything that she made was home grown and homemade. Mary loved all children but especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and fur grandkids (Smokey and Harper), they were the light of her life. She was a strong matriarch of the family stepping up after her husband passed away to raise her three children on her own until she met her second husband, Frank Lefty Subich who was a wonderful step-father and grandfather. Mary lived at Valley Pike Manor where she had countless friends that she considered sisters. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars OFM, Conv.
