Mary Kay , 83, Windber, died June 16, 2017. Born May 29, 1934, in Windber, daughter of the late John and Mary (Dinistran) Vinosky. Also preceded in death by sister, Ann Kinash; infant son, Damian; and infant daughter, Diana. Survived by husband, Joseph J. Datko; son, Dr. Darrell Datko, married to former Christie Mellott, Clarion, and Dr. Donna Datko, wife of Greg Gossard, Richland Township. Also survived by grandchildren, Nathaniel and Eliza Datko, and Autumn, Morgan and Logan Gossard. Aunt to Patricia Noon, Johnstown. Sister-in-law to Ann Kris, Johnstown; Joan, wife of William Shepler, GA; and Christine, wife of John Bodie, Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Kay was a longtime employee at Windber Medical Center as a nurse anesthetist. She also was a teacher at Admiral Peary Vo-Tech, Ebensburg. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She initiated the Stephen's Ministry at Windber Medical Center and brought communion to Church of the Brethren Home residents on the third Fridays. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
