79, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 18, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of George and Susan (Vinisky) Sedlak. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; daughter, Jacqueline; siblings, Anna Hagens, Mildred Garretson, Ruth Sedlak, George Jr. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends, including special friends, Mary Jane Waymier, Pittsburgh, PA, Michael (Charlotte) Amenti, East Taylor Township, Robbin (Gary) Clyde, Nanty Glo, PA, Tammy (Robert) Bollman, Homer City, PA, Pamela Lamar, Colver, PA, and Patti (Larry) Dostal, Mundys Corner, PA. MJ was a 1955 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired from the former Swank Refactory where she was employed as a dispatcher. MJ enjoyed word searches, gardening, shopping, being around children, and was very proud of her Slovak heritage and cherished its traditions, culture, food and music. She will affectionately be remembered as Miss Sass with a lot of Class. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Pastor James Gay officiating. Private burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
