age 90, of Ebensburg, died on June 26 at Bethlen Home in Ligonier. Preceded in death by Ida, his wife of 60 years and his son, Terry. Survived by daughter, Maxine Kane (Mary Jo), son Gary (Becky) and grandchildren, Denise and Keith (Charissa). Max was a devoted husband and father. He served his country proudly as a tail-gunner in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired as safety inspector for Bethlehem Mines where he worked for his entire career. Max was an avid outdoorsman and an enthusiastic Steeler and Pirate fan. Celebration of Life Service on August 12, 11 a.m. at Bethlen Home, Ligonier.
