96, Johnstown, died Nov. 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 25, 1921, Vintondale, son of the late Michael and Anna (Yosie) Risko. Preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Barate; Ann Mileski; Julia Sado; Mary McGregor; and John Risko. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Agnes (Casper) Risko; sister, Christine Verba, Vintondale; children, Michael C. Risko and wife, Connie, Johnstown; Constance Katawczik and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Kimberly Ocipa; Robyn Buchan and husband, Walter; Jarrett Katawczik and wife, Amanda; Kristin Katawczik; great-grandchildren, Mickilee and Noah Buchan, Kaeden Katawczik;. Mike retired from Replogle's Transport. He was a founding member of the East Taylor Twp. Volunteer Fire Company, serving as the financial and recording secretary for almost 40 years. Mike also served as a board member for the East Taylor Water Authority. He was a skilled carpenter and also enjoyed Nascar, Pirate games, card games, and fishing. Mike was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A private family viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.
