It is with great sadness that the family of Monica Rae (Rouser) Tilghman announce her passing. Monica was born July 10, 1967, she passed away suddenly on October 15, 2017 at the age of 50 in Yoakum, Texas. A native of Hollsopple, Monica attended Conemaugh Township and graduated from Vo-Tech in 1985. She was dedicated to her family, job and country, She served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Monica worked at Cuero Regional Hospital as a lab consultant, MLT, BS for 20 years. She also home-schooled 2 of her children, both graduating with honors. She is preceded in death by her father William Floyd Rouser Sr., and maternal grandparents Elwood and Martha Lape and paternal grandfather Floyd Rouser. She is survived by husband Ed Tilghman; son Tim and stepchildren Christy, Teri and Michael. Also mother and stepfather Carolyn and Robert Simko; sister Renee Rouser; brother William Floyd Rouser Jr; wife Amy; nephew Billy; niece Mea; grandmother Delores Rouser along with uncles, aunts,cousins and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Monica's life will be held at noon on Saturday October 21, 2017 at St. Davids Lutheran Church, Davidsville, PA; with Rev. Larry Hoover officiating. Friends who wish may make a donation to a Veterans Charity Fund in Monica's memory.
