Jackie, Jason, Brad, children of John Mark Crist and wife Nancy (Torquato). Evan and Lindsey, children of Ned Bruce Crist and Dianne Petimezas. Cory son of Bernard Pavlosky and Cathy Pavlosky. Nan was a 1969 graduate of Windber Area High School and worked at Bestform Foundations for 34 years. Nan was the best sister and treated all of her siblings and nieces and nephews with selflessness. She had a big heart and was always very giving to all. It was her biggest joy to give to others and never ask for anything in return. Nan loved all animals all of her life. Horses were her biggest love and also cats. She also enjoyed crocheting. I had the pleasure of being my sisters caregiver since 2010. My son, Cory and I took her many places to enjoy things for the first time. Flying in an open cockpit Biplane in New York to taking her underground in VA., to the Caverns and to the ocean for the first time. She enjoyed going to the Vintage Airshows, the Pa Farm Show, all over the Gettysburg battlefield and places in between and she loved it all. She surprised us with her pure excitement for these things and did not hold back letting the people know it. I am honored to have had her for a sister and will never forget the time we had together. Friends received 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where the funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Reverend David McGee, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of your choice. She would like that. The family wishes to thank the nurses and volunteers at Windber Hospice and the Chan Soon Shiong Medical Center.
