PARLOCK Paul P., 93, Somerset Pike, Johnstown, died unexpectedly September 3, 2017 at his home. Born February 10, 1924 in Seanor. Son of Alex Parlock and Sophia Csangla-Klimek. Preceded in death by parents; sisters Mary Valesky and Mary Vinosky; brothers Joseph, John and Andrew Klimek and Steven Parlock. Survived by wife of 61 years Colleen (Meyers) Parlock; children Philip P., Huntington, WV; Paul P., II married to Jodi (Knepper), Lake Caroline, VA; Paulette P., Davidsville and Patrick P. married to Bruna (Bericic), Johnstown; former daughter-in-law Elizabeth McQuaide-Parlock, Huntington, WV; grandchildren Paul III, Jessica, Pamela, Philip II, Hannah, Peter, Louis, Mary Alexis, Rachel, Alexander, Daniel, Victoria, Amos, Jeremiah, Sophia and Philip, Jr.; great-grandchildren Lileana, Peyton Paul, Benjamin, Aubrey, Brady, Peyton, Carter, Aria, Piper and Harmony and sister Helen, Alabama. Army veteran of WWII, having served with the 34th Cav. Rcn. Troop in the Battles of Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines and the Po Valley. Discharged with an Expert Rifleman rating and received a Bronze Star Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal and European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with 4 Bronze Stars. May they have no more hills to climb, nor cold, nor rain, nor mud, nor enemy fire, and may they now rest in peace. Member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Jerome, UMWA and Jerome Post 802 American Legion. Life member of Windber Post 4795 VFW. Former Scout Master for North Fork Troop 214 B.S.A.
