Pauline M. (Chiappini), 92, Windber went to be with the Lord, June 16, 2017. Born July 4, 1924, in Paris, France, daughter of John and Marguerite (Rassavat) Chiappini. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 64 years, Charles L. Kotch, whom she met during World War II and married in Paris, France, in 1945. Pauline is also preceded in death by her daughter, Helen E. Sharbaugh. She was the last surviving sibling of her 13 brothers and sisters. Survived by son, James Kotch, married to former Doris Padich, Mount Joy; daughter, Marguerite Caldwell, Windber; and son- in- law, William Sharbaugh, Johnstown; grandchildren, Colette (Caldwell), wife of Rick Fetchko, Carlisle; Denise (Sharbaugh), wife of Douglas Hurst, Camp Hill; and Christine Sharbaugh, Mechanicsburg; also great-granddaughter, Jocelyne "Joci" Fetchko; and great-grandson, Douglas Hurst V. Pauline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved cooking and sewing and spending time with her family. Member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Roderick N. Soha, pastor. Interment, church cemetery, 4th Street, Windber. Friends received 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held.
