72, Northern Cambria, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 22, 1945 to the late Frank and Alma (Weakland) Jarvis. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Theresa (Gach) Jarvis; his daughters, Anita, wife of Jim Stone, Baltimore, MD; and Mariann, wife of Jason Redinger, Bedford; four grandchildren, Mia and Logan Stone and Henry and Lucy Redinger. Brotherof Bob (Joyce) Jarvis and Rose (Bob) Lamer, both of Northern Cambria. Richard was a 1963 graduate of Northern Cambria High School. After graduation, he joined the Army, where he served his country for four years. After living and working in the Washington D.C. area, he moved back home to Barnesboro, where he worked for Greenwich Collieries for 18 years. Richard was an avid golfer, who also enjoyed gardening and doing crossword puzzles. Member of Prince of Peace Church. Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Prince of Peace Church at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday. Fr.
